The syndicate "Interessengemeinschaft Kaufleute am Graben" was founded to promote Vienna’s Graben and to protect the interests of its members.    Our aim is to give the GRABEN brand a positive boost and to position it as a top shopping destination, both at home and abroad. We cultivate Graben’s status as one of the most important shopping streets in the heart of Vienna.

In addition to organising events and communicating with our member businesses, we also engage in numerous lobbying activities to ensure the interests of the Graben businesses are well-represented. We can look back on many years of fruitful cooperation and good coordination with the Viennese Economic Chamber, authorities and municipal administration: time and again, we have succeeded in implementing the position of the Graben businesses on important issues such as construction sites, street art and the design of public spaces.

Last but not least, the network of Graben businesses and a good personal relation between all members are particularly important to us. Because, only if we act together as Vienna’s GRABEN, will we be able to achieve something truly great – here, in one of the most beautiful places in Vienna.
