Founded in 1858, the company Knize & Comp has been located at Graben 13 since 1909 – the branch was designed by architect Adolf Loos. 

Knize aims to offer nothing but the highest quality – in addition to bespoke clothes, its own prêt-à-porter line, evening wear, suits, knitwear in numerous colours and qualities and shoes, KNIZE also offers a great range of ties, accessories, shirts and, of course, top brands such as Briono and Tods or exclusive perfumes such as Knize Ten.

In 1976, Knize merged with “C.M.Frank” (founded in 1838). The great quality of both businesses has been vouched for by various imperial decrees, e.g. by Emperor Franz Joseph I, Edward VII, Napolean III, Victor Emmanuel from Italy and many more.

Additional branches opened in Paris, Berlin, Prague, New York and Prague.
