NAPAPIJRI’s journey began in 1987 at the foot of the Mont Blanc, where an Italian manufacturer of travel bags introduced a new feeling for outdoor clothing by closely linking innovative materials to a sense of style. Today, the premium casualwear brand is taking a closer look at the great expeditions and fearless explorers of the previous century, who spent their lives adventuring and thrilling the people with their tales. NAPAPIJRI is derived from the Finnish word for the northern polar circle, and the logo, half positive and half negative, represents the north and south poles. The Norwegian flag is closely linked to the brand’s DNA and represents Europe’s northern-most country, the birthplace of some of the greatest explorers of the 20th century as well as a country with extreme conditions and breath-taking scenery.
